The last address I have for Frank is from a CCC
letter he wrote Apr 1,
1926 --
2496 Sandy Boulevard. Portland.
I don't know where Kate or Lish are buried. I have
her death as
5/6/1943 in Portland. His as 1/2/1932 in
Independence. My guess is
that both are buried in Independence.
Hilltop Cem. in Independence has a couple of
Hortons, but not names that
I recognize. Cemetery Hill Cem. is not on-line yet.
Willamette National Cem in Portland has a "Frank G.
Horton', but the
dates are wrong -- b. Jul 1, 1886, d. May 28, 1963.
Remember, Nellie's dau., Faith Jean Kimball Black is
still alive and
alert. She probably knows where her grandparents
are buried. I'll try
her grandson. Also, one or two of Arthur Horton's
daughters still live,
but I haven't found them yet.
I just found out that Frank Grant Horton and his 2nd
wife Florence Ramar are both buried at Rose City
Cemetery in Portland.
