Two Large Reunions Held Here -- Other Personal Notes
Nelson, Aug.21--The following people were recent guests of Mrs. A. J.
Croffutt, having been in town to attend the Johnson reunion which was
held August 8th: C. T. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wingate and two
children of Wellsboro, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Eaton, Mr. and Mrs. G. C.
Slocum of Ulysses, Mrs. Vine Burley and two children of Binghamton, C.
T. Johnson of Lockport, Mrs. Anna Day, Mrs. Hattie Armstrong, and Miss
Bessie Carter of Lambs Creek.

CROFFUTTs/CROFUTs - any have data on A.J.?]
The Campbell reunion was held on the school grounds, Thursday, August
15th. About 100 were in attendance and all reported a very profitable
and happy time. The Stewart and Brown reunion was held at the same
place on August 15th, with a small attendance.
Mrs. Stella Wilbur [CC] is in Elmira in attendance on ther father, J.
W. Loop, who has been quite ill. He is reported as very much imporved
at this writing.
Walter Schanbacher returned to his home at East Point Thursday. He
was accompanied by Miss Eva Hooker [Stella's dau.] who will spend
several days as the guest of his mother.
Miss Vira Tubbs of Corning was an over Sunday guest of Treva Hooker
{Eva's sister].
Mrs. E. C. [Enoch Charles] Blackwell [Betsey Philena "Lena" Preston]
visited in Westfield ove Sunday.
A large number of our substattial citizens motored to Watkins Sunday.
J. F. Baxter and L. D. Preston went by auto to Monterey Saturday to
visit the latter's sister, Mrs. Polly Kelts."
