Yep. Same place as last time.
As of now, I plan to be there. Drive up Sat and back Monday. That will
split up the driving. Maybe I'll drive to Ithaca Sunday and visit a
college chum. He has some health problems. He's lived a rough life
(besides being a HS teacher). I think every year of his marriage, except
for the first 3 or so, his wife has spent part of each year in a mental
hospital, and their only child has been in one full time since about 18
or 20. His wife lives at home and caring for her is becoming too much
for him --- as is caring for the house. On my way back Monday, I'll
visit my 90 year old sister (91 in a couple of weeks) in a Binghamton
nursing home.
But if you have a chance, take a coffee break on your way from Lancaster
to Allentown. Mary has to work this weekend. But maybe she could join us
for a coffee break if we stop in to the cafeteria where she works. It's
only a little way off US 22.

Cowanesque River. Just North of the bridge, take Bliss Rd. It T's with
US 15, so you don't have to work about which way to go on it, it will
take you West to the "new" Nelson. You will be looking for the Nelson
Twp. picnic pavilion. There's only one and it's large. it will be on
your left, about a mile past the Cemetery. Start looking for it when you
pass Depot St.
It is downhill from the road you'll be on. It's on a circular, dirt
drive, so if you miss the first turnoff for it, no problem, just take
the next one.
If you come to the turn off for the Nelson Community Center and Post
office, you've gone too far. Turn around and keep a sharp lookout on
your right. I think it will be the 2nd turn off -- the next one after
the water works.
It's NOT part of the Army Engineers recreational facilities. You can get
there from PA 49, but it's harder to find the right road to take. There
is a sign for Nelson, but it's small and easy to miss.
