Hello Thelma,
We are trying to sort out our Irish Campbell. I believe how the Campbell's
at least some of them appear to be Irish or were at one stage is that they
were originally Scottish but moved to Ireland when the Scottish clearances
caused them to be displaced.
There fore we seem tyo have to go to them in Ireland and with such a common
surname what hope I wonder of getting anybody traced all the way back beyond
that to Scotland. ?? That's my theory anyway.
