I have a Matilda Ellison that married a J G. Campbell; Quote from Cousin Brian...
----------------------------
In the 1880 census Eugene C Ellison is listed as having been born in Iowa (which is
fact) but the 1920 census has him born in Tennessee. Also, Eugenes father-in-law,
J.G.Campbell, lists himself as born in Ireland in the 1880 census, but in 1920 his
daughter Matilda has him down as born in Scotland.

So as stated above...we need to also use lots of sources to verify information.
be in contact!

Greetings all, I'm watching this thread of Campbells in Tyrone and wonder
if anyone has a Mary Campbell married to Hugh McElroy in Corboe, Clogher,
Tyrone. Supposedly they are Sir Hugh and Lady Jane but I have no actual proof of
that fact. One daughter married a Lawless in Canada, and another a
McCormack in New York City.
Happy to chat if this rings a bell for anyone. Donna
