Hello everyone,
I am looking for connections for my great grandfather, Daniel Campbell b
April 1858 in Kilkenny, Ireland. He married Mary Hennessy b February 1866
in Limerick, Ireland.
He immigrated to Bridgeport Conn. then to Waterbury Conn. around 1900. To
the best of my knowledge his parents were Daniel Campbell and Julia
Bressalian also from someplace in Ireland.
Any and all help will be appreciated especially with looking up any records
in Limerick or Kilkenny. I have only just discovered what area in Ireland my
great grandparents were born in. Does any one know how to look up birth
records, census records or marriage records in Limerick or Kilkenny.
Thank you for your help
Patty

Digests are automatically sent out every day or so regardless of
whether
any posts have been made to the list. All of us on this list, know
this
list has been extremely quiet. I was waiting until after Labor Day
to
start a roll call but since it is so close, let's start one now.
ROLL CALL: Since this list is centered on Campbells, let's put area
and
years in subject area rather than surname, such as I have put on
this
message.
I am looking for connections for my great grandfather, George
Campbell b
1850 somewhere in Ireland, possibly County Tyrone. His parents were
George Campbell and Mary Todd also born in Ireland. Family lore
have
him going to Troy from Australia but all his records show he was
born in
Ireland. I think a possible scenario may be that the family
immigrated
to Australia when he was young and then somehow or other, he
immigrated
to Troy NY.
Any and all help will be appreciated.
