Hi!
I was just clearing my inbox and realized that I did not respond to yopu as
I had intended.I don't know about John Campbell who was born in County
Tyrone in 1790, but do know about Bernard Campbell my gr. gr. grandfather
who was born in County Tyrone in 1795 and immigrated to St. Johns N.B. then
later (1845) settled in Peel Township, in Ontario where he and his wife
Susanna Thomas Campbell raised there 14 children. I wonder if Bernard and
John could be related. The oldest son was named Hugh and the 2nd was named
John. Bernard had a brother (still trying to prove this assumption) named
Peter who was born in 1812 and also immigrated to St Johns and then on to
Ontario as a neighbor to Bernard and family. Peter named his 1st two sons
Bernard and then John. Who knows there might be a tie here somewhere?
