Hi
I am new to this list and am hoping someone might be able to help me in my family
research. I have been handed a handwritten family history which is very jumbled but also
a wealth of information despite some inaccuracies.
I have a Mary Campbell born 1801 in Ireland. She apparently left Dundalk in around 1848
due to the famine but not due to poverty and moved to Liverpool to a house in Pownell
Square.
She had 4 daughters and 1 son:
Bridget Campbell born c1836, Ireland who married a james Reardon (born in ireland),
married in Liverpool.
Lucy Campbell born c 1834, Ireland who became the 2nd wife of Thomas Mulholland,
originally from Dundalk but again married and lived in Liverpool.
Catherine? Campbell birth date unknown who I believe married a William? Fennell, and
possibly liiving in Carrickmacross. They had at least 1 son called Willaim who was born
1853 in carrickmacross. I have not been able to trace the marriage so assume they married
and lived in Ireland.
Mary? Campbell born c1828 ish possibly married a Mr Cunningham
Joseph Campbell born c1836 Ireland maried Ellen Attikinson and settled in Holyhead, I have
managed to trace his line to 1912.
I would like to see if I can trace this Mary Campbell, find out who her husband might of
been, possibly a Nathaniel Campbell, see if I can get further back, and also confirm the
children of Mary, did she just have these 5 or were there more?
Many thanks
