<< According to the History of Durham, page 396, it lists the parents of
Samuel
C. Camp as John Camp and Irena Reva Cowles. It lists Ebenezer as the brother
to John Camp and both were the sons of Israel Camp and Mary Guernsey.
Samuel's
father, John died in 1829 and perhaps his uncle, Ebenezer, took care of him
during the rest of Samuel's life or perhaps married Irena thereby was his
stepdad? Interesting theory?

I am not following this:
On my page 396 it lists
John, the son of Israel Camp and Mary, his wife, was born May 18th, A.D. 1773.
No reference of Ebenezer or Samuel anywhere on page.
And I still don't see Ebenezer and Lemuel referenced anywhere together.
(which they would be if they were twins).
I am tending to believe my Samuel C. Camp was born outside of Durham, and may
stem from an Ebenezer from another branch.
Please let me know if you find any other proof.
Thanks
