The Abner and Joseph to which Donald Allen makes reference would be my
Great grandfather(Joseph Alexander Camp-1841)and his brother (Abner-1833).
The story I have always heard is that Abner went to Oklahoma after the War
Between The States, and when he returned to Shelby in the 1920's he lived
with Joseph until he died.My grandfather (John Flaellion Camp-1882) was
married to Launa Etta Allen Camp-1884) and my father (John F-1916)lives here
in Columbia, S C ,where I live. The men in the picture are indeed the sons
of Joseph Camp-1800, who was a son of Abner, who was a son of Joseph\The
Preacher, Who was a son of Thomas III-1717.

Subject: [CAMP-L] Pictures
Hi,
The attached pictures found in my 95 year old uncle's picture box
after he died last August had the following on the back.
Abner and Joseph Camp, taken in Shelby, N. C. I am assuming
that this is Abner and Joseph sons of Joseph Camp.
Abner b. 1-31-1833, d. 7-3-1921. Joseph b. 2-13-1841 d. 10-12-1923.
Can anyone confirm this?
Barbara Farris - This is one of the pictures I talked to you about.
You may post on the Camp Website.
Thanks
Donald Allen
