I have a George Washington Camp who may have lived in Atlanta in the
mid-nineteenth century (though he may well have come there from elsewhere in
Georgia or perhaps his son moved there). He had at least three children
(Cora, Alice, and William Marion, I believe) and married Anne Payne. I have
no earlier information. Any chance this could be your George Washington Camp
or does anyone else have any information about this one? I'd love to trace
the line back a little further.
1. George Washington Camp
m. Anne Payne
2. Cora Camp
2. Alice Camp
2. William Marion Camp (Atlanta)
m. Amelia "Tessie" Smith
3. Marion Camp
3. Millard Camp
3. Julian Camp (b. 1896)

4. Peter William Camp

Thanks very much.

Subject: [CAMP-L] Camp family in Coweta Co GA
Are there any Camp families on line from the Coweta Co GA area.
I just found
out that one of my ancestors was George Washington Camp living in
Coweta Co
GA in the 1850 and 1860 census. does anyone know if his father is Edmund
Camp and if so, did he leave a will? Descendants of this line
latter moved
to Carroll co GA.
Thanks for any and all help.
