Might mention that my husband has a special lens for his camera that is made just
to take pictures of pictures. He gets some very good results--quite often, picks
up details that were not apparent in the photo from which he is copying. This is
just a hobby. Of course, this process makes a negative and even enlargements can
be made from it. We usually just use the 4x6 and the reprints that size run from
about 25 to 40 cents each. (Enlargements would be whatever the photo shop charges
for enlargements from a negative.) So, considering the film, developing and
reprint, he could probably produce a decent 4x6 copy for around 75 cents, plus
postage. As far as I know Thomas is not in his line, so he would have no personal
interest in having the photo, just trying to help. You would have to consider
the risk of sending the photo by mail to him--and not often, but mail has been
lost. Just a thought. Mary Frances

Both men have passed away. I have the photo copy of the picture, Ehney sent it
to me back in 1986 and I put it in the Camp Bulletin. I am sure that I could
get it reproduced, it is a good picture. Would there be enough interest to
compensate for the cost of reproducing and making it available to those
interested?
Let me have your thoughts.
