Subject: Re: [CAMP-L] Camps in Alabama
Many of us are not too familiar with the Counties and small towns in
the
state of
Alabama...as I am not. Nonetheless, one of our CAMPs moved to Butler
County,
AL from RutherfordCounty, NC and his name was Larkin Camp b 1767. Is
the name Larkin Camp, or his son Sheriff T. Camp is familiar to you, please
let
me know. I've been looking for information on these people for a number of
years.
Thanks,
LKnight
I f you haven't already tried,click onto
http://wwwrootsweb.com/~algenweb/county.html I am researching Thomas Camp
who was born in Georgia. I suspect that he was the son of Samuel, son of
Thaddeus but have much to prove. He married Martha Frances Coleman who was
born at Manningham, Butler Co.,abt, 1834. They were married in Grimes
Co.,Tx. in 1858. There were Camps in Grimes Co. but I do not know the
relationship to Larkin Camp. Have you heard of this Thomas? Mary Coleman
