It has been ages since I have posted to the list; however, it is with
great
pride that I announce the appointment of my son LJ, Larry Junior, to the
class of 2007 at the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. He follows
his father a veteran of Vietnam, His grand father (Ellis Camp) who landed
on the shores of Normandy, his ggrandfather who served in WWI (Columbus
Camp) , his gggrand-father (Elias) who served with the Confederate States
of America and his gggg grandfather (James) who served with the
Revolutionary patriots. I take great great pride in this tradition of
heroism and any support we can give our men in arms and peril is not only
due but our patriotic duty.
This Camp line is from North Carolina to Gwinette County and then Polk
County Ga and now resident in Colorado.
Thanks for allowing a proud father his moment,
Larry
