Funeral services for Rex W. Pearce, age 80, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny
Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Mr. Pearce passed away Nov. 13, 2009, at Summerville at Mentor.
Born April 2, 1929, in Nettleton, Miss., he was a resident of Leroy Township and formerly
of Eastlake.
He served in the U.S. Army as a SFC participating in the Korean Conflict. He was a member
of the Leroy VFW, Post 7939.
Mr. Pearce is survived by his son, Rex (Michelle) Pearce of Chardon; three daughters,
Kathy Pearce of Painesville, Kim (Neil) Callahan of Mansfield, and Cindy Kibble of Aurora,
Colo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Dirda) Pearce in 2008; parents, Thomas and
Mary (Camp) Pearce; and three brothers, Bryant, Finis, and Azel Pearce.
No calling hours will be observed. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery in Leroy.

Helen Pearce
Services for Helen Pearce, age 71, of Leroy Township, a homemaker, will be 11 a.m. Friday
at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Mrs. Pearce passed away March 31, 2008, at her home.
Born May 23, 1936, in Uniontown, Pa., she lived in Eastlake before moving to Leroy in
1964.
She was a graduate of Red Stone High School in Pennsylvania. She was a member of VFW
Ladies Auxiliary in Leroy Township and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors are her husband, Rex, whom she married June 16, 1956; son, Rex (Michelle) Pearce
of Chardon; daughters, Kathy Pearce of Painesville, Cindy Kibble of Aurora, Colo. and Kim
Knebusch of Mansfield; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sisters, Mary Sopp and
Becky Thomas, both of Pennsylvania.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williams
Cemetery.
