Subject: [CAMP-L] James Camp of McConnelsville, Ohio
I am trying to find information on James Camp who was the first brick maker
and made the bricks for the first brick house in McConnelsville in the early
1800's. He had a successful business started but it was destroyed by a
flood and he never rebuilt the business. Any information about him or his
family and children would be appreciated. James was born about 1785 in NJ.
His wife was Esther who was born in PA about 1792. They had about six
children I think. Of which three were John, Ezekial, and Elisa.
If anyone has any information, it would be very helpful.
