Does the death certificate have where W. M. was born - was it in Texas? I would
approximate James was born around 1844-1849. I checked the 1850 Texas census and I
don't find a James ages 1-6 years old. Have you checked the Texas marriages for a
James around 1860-1868? A check of the 1850 Texas Census will reveal what counties the
Williamhams were in and see if there were any Camps in that area. A similiar check of the
1850 Alabama and Arkansas census might reveal some information, since the migration of
those states went to Texas. Let me know what you find,

I have a death certificate on W.M. Camp born 1869 died 1928 in Cass
County
Texas. It list his father as James Camp and gives his mothers maiden name as
Willingham the information was given by his son Leonard Camp. I am looking for
any information on this James Camp. I have looked at 1880 census records and
there are several James Camps listed I have not found one that has a
W.M.Camp listed or William Camp. The problem I have is I don't know what his
mothers
first name was were I can try to find which James Camp I am looking for.
Thanks
Mike
