Sue,
I am researching Camps in Hillsdale and Lenawee County, MIchigan. My
Camps came from VT via NY and OH. Other than some children's names in
common, I don't see any obvious connection at this time. My Camp line
is:
Josephine CAMP (1880-1955) m. James TREMAINE
Edward CAMP (1846-1913) m. Susan (ZACHARIAS)
Daniel CAMP (1810-1877) m. Mary CHURCH
Reuben CAMP (abt 1775-abt 1865) m. Polly FOSTER
John CAMP (1754-1841) m. ? (later married Eunice BENNETT)

Does anyone have any connections with Camps in Michigan? William A.
Camp
and Emma Wilder are my great-grandparents and I'm trying to find out
more
information about them. I have only been able to go back one
generation beyond
William. William was born March 1861 in Michigan and Emma was born
January
1865 in Canada. William's parents are Abel and Mary Jane Camp. As
far as I know,
William and Emma had the following children, all born in Michigan:
Clarence b. March 1884
Charles b. Feb 1885
Florence Edna b. Jan 1887
Jessie b. Dec 1888
Walter b. March 1891
Marion b. April 1895
William Clarence b. June 1897
Abel Camp was born September 30, 1830 in New York State and Mary
Jane was
born about 1842 in New York State. Their children are, including
William, Cora
(1858), John (1860), Clara (1863), Bertha (1872), Charles (1873) and
Jessie
(1878).
Thanks for any help.
