Thought you would enjoy these obits I found. FYI, I believe the men listed to be
Homer's nephews to actually be his Brother-in-laws. He married Ola B. Gallion.
Ola's sister Verdie Gallion married Samuel O. Camp.

Homer A. Camp, 87, will be
10 a.m. Wednesday at
Froberg Funeral Home
chapel in Alvin, the Rev.
Alvie Biggs officiating.
Burial will be at
Galveston Memorial Park
Cemetery in Hitchcock under
the direction of the
funeral home.
Mr. Camp died Sunday in
Elkhart. He was born Aug.
8, 1894, and had been a
resident of Texas City from
1942 to 1969.
Survivors include a
daughter, Gladys Mae
Williams of Elkhart; two
sons, Hershel Andrew Camp
of Richwood and Doyle Lee
Camp of Freeport; and
three nephews, Opal Galion,
Clarence Galion and Archie
Camp, all of Texas City.
Other survivors include
five grandsons, three
granddaughters, 10 greatgrandchildren,
one great great-
grandchild and other
relatives.

Mrs. Ola B. Kamp Dies; Rites Today
Mrs. Ola B. Camp. 62, died at 2 a.m. Monday in her home
at 1101 22nd street in Texas City. A native of Steve, Ark., she
had been a resident of Texas City for 16 years.
Mrs. Camp was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God
Church in Texas City. Surviving are her husband, Homer Camp of Texas City;
a daughter, Mrs. Lee Williams of Baytown; two sons, Herchel Camp,
of Lake Jackson and Doyle Camp of Sweeney; three brothers, Opal,
Clarence and Mart Gallion all of Texas City; two sisters, Mrs. Marrie Ritter
of Muse, Okla., and Mrs. Sarah Hill of Dumas, Ark., and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Glad Tidings Assembly of God
Church in Texas City, the Rev. Thomas H. Neal officiating. Burial will be in Galveston
Memorial Park under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home of Alvin.
