I have gotten some material stating that the daughter of Thomas Camp III,
Elizabeth, was married to both Reubin Brock and Alexander Cochran.
I do not believe this to be true and I would like to know if anyone has any
documentation on this subject.
Elizabeth was 18 years old when she married Reubin Brock and had children
from 1778 to 1791 and according to Camp/Kemp Vol 1 "Reubin and his wife lived
near Honea Path, South Carolina during the last 45 years or more of their
lives."
The Elizabeth that married Alexander Cochran was having their children around
1788-1795.
Elizabeth (Camp) Brock had Andrew F. Brock in 1788 and also Elizabeth Cochran
had William Charles Cochran in 1788. So I don't think Thomas Camp III's
daughter Elizabeth was married to both Brock and Cochran.
Can anyone shed any light on this family?
