Judge Hearn,
I'm sorry that I've taken so long to answer your e-mail. I got pretty far behind
getting a new printer, a new air conditioner, and with yard work. I'm leaving in a
few minutes to attend a MOAA/NRA (military officers) dinner, so had better close, but
I'll try to get back to you this weekend with some information. In the meantime, you
can find some information on our family at Jim Nelson's Nelson Cousin web site
http://members.cox.net/nacanut/cousins.html .
I am working backwards, from the most recent to the oldest e-mail, and earlier this
afternoon I forwarded to Jim a copy of an e-mail from you to Jennifer in which you gave
your address information.
More later.
George

I've been following the e-mails re Jennifer's Camp suitcase with interest
since I'm descended from Delilah P. Camp, who married James Franklin Nelson 16
May, 1827, in Monroe, Walton County, GA.
Delilah was the daughter of Joseph Camp and Elizabeth Camp (descended from
John Camp and Mary Tarpley), and was born 4 Oct 1813 in Jackson County, GA,
died 7 June 1899 in Claiborne Parish, LA. If I can help provide information
of interest, or if you (Jennifer) find information about James Franklin Nelson
and Delilah P. Camp in your collection, I would certainly like to hear from
you. I'm especially interested in any information on James Nelson's early
life -- about all we know about him is that he was born in Virginia in 1805.
