There are a lot of Camp families that lived in CT.Our Camp line has
Job G.who was born in CT around 1792. He served in the Vermont
Military in the War of 1812. His first son was born in 1814 in
Vermont - that was Warren Percival. He also had Brothers named Royal,
james and a couple of others. I'm at the wrong computer for my records.
In the 1830s the family move to New York state. Job G. stayed there
but Warren P. Moved on to Nebraska around 1865. His youngest child,
Byron Warren was born in 1864 in New York state, Warren County. Three
or four of Warren's children went with hime to Nebraska. He had at
least five children. Warren died in Nebraska in 1867. The family out
there then moved to St. Joseph MO.
I have decided that this a moving branch of the Camp family. Every
generation you find them in a different state.

My Camp line traces to NJ. . .but a researcher once suggested the

Do those of you with CT Camp roots have a stray Joseph Camp
descending from
one of your progenitors?
Joseph Camp (b. c. 1748 NJ & d. 1824 NJ) married to Mary. Their
children
included: David, Eli, Rhoda, Thomas, Elijah, James, Phebe, Elizabeth,
Hannah, Sarah & Asa. My line is from Thomas.
