Elizabeth,
Thank you again for the information. I am very excited to hear from another
descendant of Abner Camp. I would enjoy hearing more about your book.

Hi Janet:
It's nice to see a descendent of my Camp line ; on line...You are
definitely descended from
Abner and Margaret Earl Camp...that I spend so many hours a day on trying
to
complete my
book. I am not sure of the date of Thomas Pinkney Camp's trip to Texas.
He was married the
first time to a Lauderdale and had a daughter Elizabeth Jane Camp b.
1-24-1839..I don't have the
date of her death, but he married Eliza Jane Hobbs in 1845 according to
information from a descendent
Margery Noman, from first marriage. We talked by phone several times and
she sent me a lot of paper
work. Recently when I tried to contact her, I couldn't find her...either
she moved or died. Also I had some
information from a descendent of the second wife...who promised to send
information but I have never
received it......She called me to leave a message and my
machine cut her off last fall...and I haven't been able to get
her.....According to my information he lived in
Kicaster, Wilson County, Texas. I would like to have your help in getting
information completed on this
part of the family. I have about forty years of research on this part of
the family and have about 11,000 names
in the computer on descendents of Abner and Margaret Earl Camp. If I can
answer question for you please
ask. I am descended from Thomas Pinkney's brother Joseph Alexander Camp.
