I serve as historian for the 14th Infantry website at http://www.1-14th.com/
and I ran across your site through a browser search. One of your pages
makes reference to Capt. Camp serving in the Philippines. I would be most
interested to know if you have any further memorabilia of Capt. Camp that
the 14th could add to its website's histories? I could not find Capt. Camp
on the roster of officers that went to China in 1900, so it is most
probable that he served with the 1st Battalion of the 14th which returned
to the US in the Spring of 1900 and didn't see action in China.
The site is entirely non-profit, you will find no advertisements or
pop-ups, our webmaster, Mr. Terry Bender supports and maintains the site
entirely from his own resources. We have approximately 800 pages posted
including a Directory for both the Philippines and China. We would be most
appreciative of any history that we could add to the site and allow present
and past alumni of the 14th to see and read about past members of the
regiment.
Thank you for any consideration in this request, and thank you also for
remembering Capt. Camp.
