information other than names, there are some references at the bottom.

I was recently looking up history on the Battle of Kings mountain and I
stumbled across a "William Nelson" in a roster of patriots that fought
there. The address is:

I suppose DAR and SAR records would be a dependable resource but I
haven't cross checked the above roster with them. I have an application
pending with SAR but it is on my McLendon line, not my Nelson line
