(1) Josiah Washington Camp married Necie McDonald 22 Sept., 1881 recorded at
Anderson County Courthouse Book 9 page 83 per "Marriages of Anderson County,
Texas 1846 - 1900", pg.18, ACGS, 1993
Now, that's not all, in "Pioneer Families of Anderson County Prior to
1900", ACGS, 3rd reprint, 1998, page 129, it list Pernecia "Necie" Fincher
(a member of the Creek Nation) who was married to Moses Fincher and that she
was a sister or half sister to William H. Holder and Andrew Holder. on page
130, the artical tells that after Moses died, Necie is thought to have
married a Mr. Burl "Bud" Camp. One of "Necie's" daughters
married Henry
Camp. That artical was written by Lynda Amason Woolverton.
Page 39, 40, and 41 cover Burwell Washington Camp, Josiah Jackson
"Jack" Camp, Josiah "Joe" Washington Camp. (2) In Josiah
"Joe" Washington
Camp's artical, he and his first wife also had a daughter named Rhoda but
her name was Louisa Rhoda Mantaleen Camp (26 Oct. 1856-3 Aug. 1866) Then
they had Frances Monarcha Jane Camp (3 Mar. 1861- 31 Jan. 1948) who married
Linton "Lent" Decatur Camp they are also in "Marriages of Anderson County
Texas 1846 - 1900" page 18, ACGS,1993 and are listed as L.D. Camps to F. M.
Camps 15 Dec. 1880 recorded book 8 page 463.
On page 41 (last part of the artical on Josiah "Joe" Washington Camp)
it tells that he married Pernecia McDonald. This artical is written by Kay
Wolf and Virginia Sadorf.
You have to remember that this is my Great Aunt's Grandmother. My
Great Aunt is still living and she and I have been over this both at the
Ferguson graveyard and sitting down discussing the articals in the books.
Louisa Cooper Camp is buried beside her son James Monroe Camp in the
Palestine City Cemetery and both articals list Josiah "Joe" Camp as being
buried at the Starr Cemetery and Perniece "Necie" McDonald Camp is thought
to be buried in the Starr Cemetery.
I am not a good enough typist to type the artical's for you, but
Barbara, I have both of the books by the Anderson County Genealogical
Society (the one listed above and the Supplement to it) and if you need
copies of the articals on these Camp Family Members I could send them to you
as attachments.

I have two questions:
1) You show Pernecia's last name as McDonald, other show Fincher and
Holder.
Could you elaberate on the McDonald name.
2) You are showing Frances Monarach Camp who md Linton Decatur Camp-others
show Frances Rhoda Camp- could you elaborate on the middle name of
Frances.
