Hi Jack - I am afraid I don't have an answer to your question about John Campe and
Mary Goore. I, too, have them as tentative parents of our Nicholas but with no reliable
proof. As to Nicholas I have three different birth dates Apr 1596, 1624, or 10 Jan 1606. I
tend to believe the 1596 but have no definitive proof of that either. Do you have a source
for his birth or for his death?

This Nicholas appears to be the Nicholas CAMP [Sr.], b. about 1595-97 in England, d.
before 1655 in Milford, CT; m. 1st to Sarah, m. 2nd to Edith, m. 3rd to Catherine. They
resided in Milford, CT.
He is also my ancestor and I am interested to know if there is primary proof that he was
born in Nazeing, Essex, England, and that his parents are John CAMPE & Mary GOORE, as
I have seen in some undocumented secondary sources.

Has anyone found a passenger list for the arrival of Nicholas b. Apr 1596 and d. ca 1653.
Also, a source for his death.
Thank you very much.
