Could you please see if you have an Armistead Camp in your books? Armistead
is in the 1840 census of Williamson County, TN. I believe Pamelia Jane Camp
who married Abram McLemore in Williamson County in 1839 is his daughter, but
need proof.
Thank you,

How Do?
I have Volume 1 and Volume II of the Camp-Kemp Family History, Volume 1 and
Volume 2
which contain a few remarks about a name or two you mentioned. These Books
were written by
Col Robert Neville Mann and Cathrine Cleek Mann in 1967. Should you be
really interested
in specific names (and can provide names of wives/husands/parents, etc.,, I
would be glad to
investigate further. These books are probably in some local Genealogy
Library.
I'm connected to the Camp Line via my wife, Lorice Camp Knight and we are
from Ellisville,
Jones County, MS. Her pedigree begins: Lorice Camp (Lonnie Knight),
Parents O.B. Camp and Alma Margaret Runnels; then on up the wline to John Wesley
Camp and Elizabeth L. Kimbriel; then John Thomas Camp and Martha Jane Parham,
then Sheriff T. Camp and Mary Unknownthen Thoms Camp IV and Nancy Anne
Tarpley; then Thomas Camp III and Winifred Starling; then Thomas Camp II and Mary
Ida Marshall
Then Thomas Camp and Catherine Barron, then William Campe and Mary Farmer.
Should any of these names ring your bell, I can help.
