Hi Barbara,
Just wanted to let you know that my father, Alvin Marion
Camp, passed away on April 24th, 2004 in Carson City,
Nevada. We just returned from the funeral service there,
and then the drive up to Salem, Oregon to inter his ashes.
He was 80 years old and quite a keeper of oral history of the Camp family.
(Descended from Alvin Morse Camp,
Williams Peter Camp, Williams Washington Camp, Cecillus Camp, Samuel Camp,
Ichabod Camp, etc. on
back to the Edwards and Thomas from England.
He is buried in Salem, Oregon next to my mother, who
died in 1988.
Regards,
Val (Camp) McCown

Hello all - I have finished transcribing several counties in 1880 NY and ran
across these two Camp surnames. I know there is not much family information,
but it does tell what county and town they were living in at some point in
1880 NY - there were no dates on any pages. I hope this helps someone. Dot
Camp, Aaron
