Hello Pat,
My line is through the brother of the Reverand
Joseph Camp. His brother was John Clark Camp, born 12 December 1818. My
family is also still in the Munford-Hopeful area of Talladega County. I
don't have a lot of information on your ancestor L. Taylor Camp, and would
sure like to be able to complete your family. I have his wife as Fannie
Dirkey. Is that correct? I also don't have any children for them, and I
would sure like to have that also. Thanks.

Hello,
I'm unsure what I have subscribed to. I'm looking for information on my
paternal grandfather, Welcome William Camp. He was born in 1904-1961. Grew
up in Hall County, GA. His parents were Hardin Camp and Mattie(or Mame)Camp.
They were also from Hall County. Any information is much appreciated. I'm
not sure if I'm only supposed to respond to the topic for today(?).
Thank you,
Amy Camp Stanton
Connie Parnell-Beverly:
That helped a whole lot. Thank you. Is there any information you need that I might have? What is your line? Mine is through the Rev. Joseph and Sarah Pullen Cobb, and their son Charles Leonard Taylor Camp, and his daughter Lutie E. Camp.
I'm willing to share what I have.
You can e-mail me at ananny(a)swbell.net.

Hey,
I sure thought I did, but when I looked back I only have a
marriage date for one son: Joseph Eugene Camp to Annie Hassetine Hansard
3 June 1875, Munford, Talladega County, Alabama. I just checked on my
laptop, and I also have these dates: Mary Elizabeth Camp to Bryant Pearce
26 December 1854, Talladega County, Alabama. Louisa J. Camp to John W.
McKibbon 26 October 1865, Talladega County, Alabama. Winifred Letitia Camp
to John G. Walker 15 November 1864, Talladega County, Alabama. Laura
Matilda Camp to R.E. Bailey 21 November 1871, Munford, Talladega County,
Alabama. Benjamin S. Camp to Achsah Pace 29 October 1874, Munford,
Talladega County, Alabama. Martha Sarah Camp to Thomas A. Kerr 23 March
1864, Talladega County, Alabama. I thought I had recorded those dates at
the library one day. Maybe this will help.

Connie Beverly:
I saw your posting of the following and wonder if you have marriage dates
for the Rev. Joseph Camp's children?

Emma Jean,
I can send you the entire cemetery, which I transcribed
last year. I have all the marriages of Reverand Joseph Camp's children; but
I don't have children for most of his children. I would very much like to
have that. Do you have that? I would gladly exchange the cemetery for the
grandchildren.

Does anyone know of a picture of Ruth Camp who married David Patterson?
Don't know how long ago they started taking pictures so don't know if they
were during her life.
Take care
Sherrie
I am looking for anyone researching Ulrich Kampf and Magdalena
Buehler. They came over from Switzerland, probably Canton Bern,
in 1834. They first settled in Wayne County, Ohio, then moved
to Tuscarawas County, Ohio before the 1840 census. They stayed
there until their deaths.
Ulrich Kampf was born 15 Jul 1786 in Switzerland and died 26 Jun
1869 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. His wife, Magdalena Buehler,
was born 11 Sep 1789 in Switzerland and died 29 Apr 1865 in
Tuscarawas County, Ohio. They had at least three sons and two
daughters, according to census information.
1) Ulrich Kampf (1821-1875). I believe he never married.
2) Magdalena Kampf (1824-1900) married first Ulrich Graber and
second Michael Lillich.
3) daughter, born about 1826.
4) Jacob Camp (1829-1906) married Jane Fisher.
5) Daniel Camp, born 1831.
All the children were born in Switzerland. If anyone else is
researching this bunch, I would love to hear from you.
Heather

I have been given two pictures from a lady in Ohio who found them at a garage
sale. They are in very good condition. First is a picture of a Rev. P. M.
Camp, Minister of Summit? (Lunnet? Lumet?) St. U. B. Church, Dayton, Ohio and
the other is Wendell Camp, son of Rev. Camp. No year is on the picture.
If you recognize the above, please let me know, I had them scanned, so I can
send you a copy.
