Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
When the site shows as a URL address that someone can click on, then the
address can't be mistaken. Sometimes, when there are brackets around it or
something, then those might be picked up unknowingly.
Just a guess.

I have no problem at all getting to the website.
Barbara, I am in the process of putting together the info I have on my wife's
South Carolina and Georgia Camp family. There is also a North Carolina
connection, and possibly Virginia. I am fairly new in working in this
computer world, so I may need some help in getting the info to you. What is
the easiest way for this computer novice to send you info? I am trying to
get the info together on Family Tree Maker to (hopefully) extract the info
onto a disc. What do I do with it, if I am successful in getting this far?
Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Harold McDonald

When someone asks how to get to the site, I click on the site url at the
bottom of that email with the clickable url and it always go through for me.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me can help us.

This clickable URL would have to be cut and pasted as the ">Camp at the end
would void it as unreachable. Always remove anything before the http.
You can also remove pieces of the address until you reach the address that
will go thru

As of 4:00 PM Tuesday Sept. 18 the hearing on the cemetery is still on the
schedule for 1:30 Thursday Sept 20 Common Pleas Court, third floor Clinton
County Court House.. I had a discussion with Rick Moyer from the Clinton
County Prosecutor's Office and he informed me that there has been no contact
from the property owner nor his lawyer so Mr. Moyer is not sure of what will
take place at the hearing. If the owner has a lawyer they may ask that the
hearing be postponed so that they can better prepare for it. If this be the
case there will be a new date set for the hearing and nothing will happen on
the 20th except that the owner will get some idea of the resistance to
destroying the cemetery. If, on the other hand the owner is ready to fight
the injunction then Mr. Moyer may ask some of the supporters of the cemetery
to testify. We just don't know what the owner's intentions are.
I will leave to up to each individual as whether or not to attend. I know
there may be some who are driving a considerable distance and some who are
taking off work to attend. If you do plan to attend just be aware that we
may be there only a few minutes and find that the hearing is rescheduled. I
will be there. I wish I had more information but that is the way the system
works.
Please consider writing to the Clinton County Prosecutor's Office and
expressing your thoughts about preventing the owner from making the cemetery
into a parking area. Also ask anyone else that has an interest in this
cemetery to write. The address is listed below.
Than You,
