Does anyone have Forrest William Camp in their lineage? I have found
records for 2 people by this name; it seems likely they could be a father
& son & I'm also hoping to discover they are descendants of a brother of
my great-grandmother, Mary Augusta (Camp) Devine.
Forrest William Camp #1 b. 7/19/1929 IL; d. 6/29/1992 San Mateo Co. CA.
Forrest William Camp #2 b. 9/24/1954 San Mateo Co. CA.
Great-grandmother had a brother named Thomas P. Camp; Thomas had a son I
believed named William F. Camp but Civil War Pension Report for Thomas
referred to this son as Forrest William. By mid to late 1920's William F.
Camp (or Forrest William) was living in IL & had a son Thomas who was
engaged to be married. Unfortunately, I do not know name of wife of
William F. nor do I know who his son Thomas married.
Would certainly be interested in hearing from anyone who recognizes any
of these names to see if we have information to share.

Hi,
Sorry, I am trying to get in touch with Carole who posted info about a
developer who is going to build on the property where my ggrandfather and
other family members are buried.
I have tried to get in touch with my local gerontology society and all they
have is a message that refers you to their web page. Does anyone know of a
local historical cemetery group for Jonesboro, Ga.? I tried, but can't find
any listing in the phone book either for anything relating to old cemeteries.
On my Gay line, that to was an old family cemetery located in Jonesboro, Ga.
William Gay, who served in the revolutionary war was buried there. My cousin
had an agreement with the developer and all lawyers, to maintain this
cemetery. Over the years this was not done and the cemetery is gone. I want
to make sure this is not the case this time.
Am I wrong to think the best thing to do is to relocate these graves to a
cemetery elsewhere? I know this was done where I live some years ago when
land was being cleared, and a very old cemetery was found, no one knew it was
even there.
Thanks, Lora
Hi,
I received this e-mail from you and think you must have my e-mail address
and someone else's name mixed up. We don't have a trip planned that I know
of.
Yes, I'm doing some research on the Camp line but I am John Shriver and my
e-mail is jshriver(a)mail.ee.net.

That is correct When I was working on a certain web site chat hosting I
could push a command called / finger. and it would give me the ISP number of
the user, so I could tell if a person logged off in one name and logged on in
another if they was causing trouble. I could also transfer them into a room
where they were alone with me so I could have a little chat with them about
their behavior, or ban them from the room for a time out. Note you hae to
have special tools given to you to do this by your boss. or be the owner of
said chat room.

Carole,
it isn't actually a phone number, everyone has a "signature" to their
computer and that is what the number was you were looking at. I know there
is a better term or it... I just can't think of it right now.

Carole,
This is the number I was talking about. Each section had a . (period)
between it, like a telephone number would have dashes.
This is where I went to the SamSpade site (http://www.samspade.org/) and put
the number into any "whois" search that would take it. Most gave me
information, but only one gave me information I could understand. I copied
the number from my Norton information and pasted it in the search areas so
as to get the number right and not wear out my fingers.
One thing I learned from Norton was that when you go on-line, people who
know how to do it, can tell all kinds of things about you and your computer.
You may have had alerts before, just maybe didn't notice them, or know what
that flashing exclaimation meant.
Melody
