Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

Hey Cousin Val Good to see you again on the list :-) Hope all has been going
well for you :-)
Kelly
I have heard that it is out of print. Don't know if they plan to print any
more. Some good libraries have it. The Seattle public library has it.
I spent half a morning xeroxing it (The Camp half, anyway), so I know it
is around. If you find a source, let me know, as it would be neat to have
my own copy.
Val
The web site for Higginson Books is below. I didn't see the Camp/Jones book
there. However, if they can get a copy of one they'll be able to make a master
copy so they can print copies when people order them.
Hope this helps.

Wow looks like the camps get around! Good! This is a great family!
Happy Thanksgiving all my Cousins!
Just a little bit of information - just for curiosity - I checked the stats
of who was hitting our Camp web site and as you can see, we are visited by
lots of other countries.

Hi Barbara, I'm new today to the Camp list and wondered to what CAMP
site you are referring in today's mail? I seem to have 2 Camp
families in my line, Mercy Camp (Edward) m Josiah Baldwin and then
Josiah's father, John Baldwin to Mary Camp (Nicholas). Pat
I have installed a search engine for the entire Camp web site. You will see
it near the bottom of the Camp home page. If you enter a name, it will send
you to a list of pages that name appears on. You double-click the particular
page you want and it will take you to that page - somewhere on that page is
that name. (A good tip is to do a Control-F and type in the name you are
looking for and it will shoot you right to it.)
If you have any problems, let me know. I hope this new feature will be
helpful in your searches. I would love some feedback, so if it is helpful or
a hindrance, please send me (tfarris268(a)aol.com) your comments.
Also I am doing some general maintenance on the site so if a particular page
doesn't pop right up, it may be because I have taken it offline to do some
housekeeping on it. Keep trying because it shouldn't be but a few moments.

I am trying to obtain a copy of the book, Camp, Jones & Related Families. I
sent a check to C. Nelson Carter at the address listed on the Camp Family
Website, and it was returned as undeliverable. Does anyone know where I can
purchase the book?
When you can't find a book you need any other way, try the online used book
sellers. A year or so ago I was able to locate a used copy of a book I
wanted which had been out of print for years.

I have added the following to the Camp web site:
Alabama Marriages - Updated
Arkansas Marriages - Updated
Missouri Marriages - Updated
1850 Maryland Census (Special thanks to Faye & Fred Allen for their work on
this one).

The subject of the message must contain the full Web site
address and nothing else. For instance, the message subject
might be: http://www.clipper.net/~genlady
. All votes must be received on
or before November 30, 2000.

Hello,
Do they have birth records from that early in
Connecticut? I don't think they have them that early here in Alabama. Death
certificates can only be ordered after 1907. Good luck.
