Thank you for responding.
I am still trying to paste together the ancestors of my Samuel C. Camp who
married Betsey Ann Cone. I found his death information: died May 26, 1882 age
78 in Durham, Occupation: Carpenter, Father: Ebenezer Camp, no mother listed.
Still not sure the Ebenezer that I posted was his father, but I need to check
everything.
One more entry from the Fowler book page 337, Admissions into the Church of
Rev. David Smith - Sept 4th, 1814 -Samuel C. Camp and wife,by letter from
Hartford. Since my Samuel was born around 1804 this may have been his
grandfather?
Thanks again for your response.
If you find out anything more, please let me know.

I believe the Israel Camp who took the oath was Israel Camp who married Rhoda
Smithson, but he died in 1778 so I believe the Israel list as freeman in 1789
may have been his son, Israel.
If anyone has additional information on these two men, please post to the

Could anyone tell me which Camp line the following 2 men come from:
1. Ebenezer Camp Age 62 died December 3, 1831 - Durham Town Vital Records
Ebenezer Camp bapt. Nov 18, 1770 son of Capt. Israel and Mary Camp - from
History of Durham book by Fowler. (Prob. the same as above)
2. Capt. Israel Camp who took oath of Fidelity August 26, 1777, and was listed
as freeman Sept. 13, 1789 - again from Fowler's book on the History of Durham
I am looking for the wives names and children of Ebenezer and Israel.
Thank you.
Tracy
I have completed the genealogies of all the Thomas Camp III children and they
are online.
Now, onward to Edward Camp's children. I think all that are not done is Samuel
Camp and Hannah Betts; and Edward and Mehitable Smith.
If you have any corrections and additons to the posted lineages, please let me
know.

I have been working on my Daniel CAMP born Appx 1800 in NJ he settled as an
adult in Burlington Co. I haven't found his death but he disappears after
the 1860 census (age 60). his (second??) wife Harriet Champion died May 1864
.their last 'known' child born was daughter Anna Marie is born in Batsto,
Burlington NJ. 1852.Their other children; John Wesly b.1840, James b
1842,JOSEPH b1847.
now there is a Joseph Camp (b. 1761)and Ann HALSTED who in North Jersey
(Camptown) had among their children a Daniel born 1799 (per LDS/ and per DAR
files in Rutgers) no further data on him.
What I am looking for is infomation that will either encourage me or prove
me wrong in the feeling that Joe & Ann's Daniel is my GGGgrandfather Daniel.
if anyone knows anything about Nicholas' son William and his decendents in
NJ I would appreciate hearing from you
My hobby is genealogy and I raise dust bunnies for pets.

I get a lot of mail regarding a Camp Coat of Arms. I would love to put it on
our Camp site, but I need someone to scan it and send it to me as a .gif or
.jpg
Can someone volunteer to scan the Coat of Arms that is on the back of the Camp
Newsletter?

Can anyone give me information regarding some entries in the History of Durham
CT book by Fowler
page 320: baptism records of Rev. Elizur Goodrich's Church
Nov. 18, 1770 - Ebenezer, son of Capt. Israel and Mary Camp
Then there are birth records for an Israel and Mary Camp (pg 393) Lemuel was
born Nov. 15, 1770 and (pg 396) John was born May 18, 1773. They list father
as Israel Camp, not Capt. Israel.
Does anyone know of a Capt. Israel Camp who married a Mary?
Are they the same as Israel Camp who married Mary Guernsey December 24, 1766?
If so, were Ebenezer and Lemuel twins?, and if that is so, why were they not
included together in the book.
Thank you
Tracy

I have added an Obituary Notice page on the Camp site. If you want an
obituary notice posted there, just send it to me, if you could make sure you
have the newspaper name and date it would help. I also changed the picture
page around and we now have some pictures on it. Two pictures won't load and
I am trying to find a graphic expert to find out why, know of any? If you
have a picture you want posted, send it to me as a .gif or .jpg as the .tif
ones don't load.
Also, I have uploaded the genealogy of Daniel Camp and Sarah McKinny (son of
Thomas Camp and Margaret Carney. Next to be done will be Lewis Camp and
Joanna Neal.

Hello, everyone. This is my first posting to the CAMP site-
I'm looking for information on the descendants of Aaron Pixley CAMP b. abt
1795 in Windham, CT, mar. Mary (Polly) Walsh/Welsh and d. 8 Feb 1886 in
Pittsford, MI. I'm especially looking for information about his son,
William (A?) CAMP, who mar. Johanna Catherine Thurston (b.9 Jul 1839).
William and Johanna were divorced, and William CAMP dropped completely from
my family's records. There have been rumors of a Lancaster, PA connection,
but...?
Aaron Pixley CAMP is from the whole Waterbury, CT and Milford, CT group of
CAMPS (I can provide more info for anyone who's interested):
Aaron Pixley CAMP < Samuel (3) CAMP < Samuel (2) CAMP < Abel CAMP < Samuel
(1) CAMP < Edward (3) CAMP < Edward (2) CAMP < Edward (1) CAMP
Thanks!

I have Gerard Camp but not his children. Could I get that info from you? I
am interested especially in the LACY surname as this is my Greer line coming
from Susan Elizabeth 1779 to Matthew Thomas Lacy. You state that they are
descendants of Edward and Mehitable. I assume that they are 4 generations
removed.
Am anxious to get the info.

Beverly, I have looked through all my Camp file and do not find Mary Lucy
Naomi Camp. If you have not done so already, get on the internet and go to
Ancestry.Com. There is alot of information about the Camp family on there.

I am interested in finding the parents of Mary Lucy Naomi Camp who married
Absolum Autrey. My records show that she was born in Virginia and died in
Georgia. Marriage would have been before 1770 probably in North Carolina.
She would have died before 1800. Her children were born in Granville North
Carolina and Jackson County Georgia.
