I am lucky enough to have two unrelated Camp families on my ex-husband's
side and on my father's side of the family. Today I am looking for David
Camp who married Paulina Zink in Sidney(?) Ohio and then moved to Richmond,
Indiana where Paulina Camp died on Dec. 11, 1892.
Does anyone have this line in their research?

GULLETT. I live in Lafayette Co., MS. So, far, I have just
used family, library, Family Tree Maker CDs and the internet.
If you have the time----could you explain the IGI? What is the
Batch # and Serial #. I will go to the court house soon. Also,
to tell you how wrong I was, I thought they were in Yalobusha
Co., MS. Again, Thank you SO much!

Alice,
The IGI is the International Genealogical Index at the Family History Centers
that list individuals submitted by family or extracted from various records.
If you go to your local Family History Center, tell the librarian that you
have a batch number from the IGI, they will give you a microfische to look up
that batch number and it will reference the microfilm number that you need to
order from SLC. When it comes in, look up the batch number & serial number
and you will find the copy of the actual submission entry sheet which will
have the submitter's name & address and possibly the telephone number.
Contact that person, it is a distant cousin probably and could possibly have
additional information for you.

Alice,
I found Benjamin (#30254) in 1850 Lafayette County, Mississippi (page 283).
He is by himself and it states he is 27 years old (born ca 1823) , a teacher,
from Georgia. There is an entry in the IGI that shows he married Hessa C. D.
Gullick on 4 May 1851 in Lafayette County, Mississippi. The Batch # is M516981
Serial #0105 in case you want to look up where the information came from.

Alice,
We do not find a Benjamin Camp born in 1818. Have you found him in 1850 yet?
If you have, that would help us tremendously in determining which lineage he
belongs to. Do you know his wife's name?

We have found a Sanford Camp (#20937) who was the son of Abner Norman Camp and
Jane Teasley. Sanford married Lilla Harvey Walthall. I believe this is the
one you are seeking.

The only information the Camp Family Database has on Remember Baldwin (#2387),
d/o Josiah Baldwin and Mercy Camp, is that she was born 29 February 1679/80 in
Milford, New Haven, Ct.
Does anyone else know anymore information?
