Hey |Mike I disagree. Prince Philip's blood was used for DNA testing of the
remains, possibly of the Tsar of Russia. Genes go on for ever. Brad only
needs one.

Brad,
You are Mathew's "2nd cousin, 7 times removed" not a direct descendant,
so your musical ability is all your own :-}

My name is Brad Camidge. I am 31,still not quite as young as you ,but
besides my
immediate family( James and Annalee Camidge- father/mother ) I
have never met another Camidge. I find it very interesting. According to The
Oxford Dictionarary of Music the Camidge family span nearly 200 years of
organists and composers in York, Mathew Camidge being one of the most
recognized. I am a guitarist,singer, song writer,and as of 2 years ago a
pianist. I am completely self taught. Piano comes probably the most
natural. I am certain my ancestery plays a huge part in this. I would love
to know from which of the Camidge musicians I branched from, even though I
guess overall, it really doesn't matter!

I hate to be the sinic but I have to ask one question,
why does the name Camidge mean so much to you all?
The reason I ask is because I am thinking of
unsubscribing myself from rootsweb.
Anyone convince me to stay and I will.
I don't know, maybe its because I am only 19, and the
rest of you seem a hell of a lot older (no offence
intended). So please please don't take offence to this
but perhaps you all might enlighten me.
Cheers Dan
