Hi to all the Camidges.
Its been a while.
I write with a little sad news, an entire generation of
Camidges has passed away in Noittingham, my great uncle
and grandad being the last. PLEASE don't send sympathy
e mails though! ..snip...
I am intersted to ask the American Camidges, where
abouts in the States are you all? I am going to be in
the US for 3-4 months of next year and it would be
interesting if I could meet some of you and your
families.
All the best
Dan Camidge
Hi Dan,
I feel compelled to let you know that I am very sorry to hear about your
great uncle and grandad. But I am glad that your wrote to the list and
glad to hear that you will be visiting the States soon. Will this be
your first trip to the States? What part of the States will you be
visiting? I hope you will have a safe journey to and a very pleasant
visit in the States! My husband and I live in NC and I think there are
a few Camidges sprinkled throughout the eastern U.S. Send us an e-mail
when time for your visit gets closer ... we would always welcome an
opportunity to meet a fellow Camidge.
My goodness, it's good to see some conversation going on the list
again! Linda, did you find Mike's website at
www.camidge.org? I know
he has done a great deal of research and has been kind enough to post it
on his website.
Marcia, have you been on the Daughtery mailing lists (I'm sure you have)
to find information on your Margaret Daugherty? And I see I have
spelled it two different ways in this sentence. There is probably
several different ways of spelling that name ... such as Dougherty but I
am not positive. You might try checking all the genealogy mailing
lists/bulletin boards. If I run across anything, I'll sure keep you in
mind and let you know..... Warmest regards to all... Carolyn
