Hi there this is Melissa Camidge. I do have a
question and I was wondering if someone could answer
it. Well a few years back my dad got some info. about
the Camidge name and it said that our ancesteres were
vikings. Does anyone know if that is true? It is
very cool to have gotten that info. when we get this
thing started maybe we could find away to display this
info. Do you think that is a good idea? Well I'll
let you go.

Hello fellow listers,
There are only five of us subscribed right
now. I believe my
brother-in-law Mike CAMIDGE will be subscribing as
soon as he gets some
things taken care of on his end - he was hit with a
computer virus. However,
he is excited about the list and may very well take
over as listowner once he
gets things straightened out.
Diane, thanks for "breaking the ice" and
hopefully, all you other
CAMIDGE subscribers will send your intro e-mails to
CAMIDGE-L(a)rootsweb.com
Let us hear from you! I am so eager to get to know
you all! One thing, I
have learned about the CAMIDGEs, though, is that the
CAMIDGE menfolk aren't
real talkative! ;o) Diane, my husband, Cliff,
said he went to school with
Bruce! Wonder if Bruce remembers Cliff?
Also, fellow-listers, don't forget to check
out Mike CAMIDGE's
website -
www.camidge.org If you "click" on the
different topics he has -
"genealogy" - "square dancing". etc. you will find
a great deal of
information about the CAMIDGE family and learn about
Mike and his wife,
Caroline. When you do click on any of the "links"
he has - such as Family
Tree - Mike has instructions for HOW to view the
ENTIRE tree to see if your
name appears there or not. If you submit your
family information and a
request to be added to the tree, Mike will get you
and your family members
added to the tree. As information is compiled, it
will be a WEALTH of
information for those CAMIDGE children who come
along and wonder about their
family roots. I wish more families (such as mine -
the MOSES family) had
taken the time to leave their ancestral heritage for
us children.
You all have NO IDEA how hard it was for me
to find out simply "where
my grandfather was buried." Gracious!!
Anyway ... somebody - come on now - let's
get some e-mails going. I
know sometimes the list will be quiet - but we have
to get it going! I know
- I know - I said to be patient, so why I am I not
patient, right! <VBG>
.... warmest regards to all... Carolyn and Cliff
