Hi Karen,
I honestly don't know if CAMBIDGE is a variation of CAMIDGE but it
sounds very possible to me. I will ask Mike, my brother-in-law as soon as I
get a chance - he's done so much research on the CAMIDGE surname, I'm sure he
will know.
Of course, he will probably respond to this anyway once he checks his
