My name is Linda Hearn (Camidge). I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I have some family
info dating back to the 1700's. I don't have if on hand right now but I will have
a look for it and get back to you. I believe Camage is from the some family name.
Relatives were very famous organists in England. One even worked with Braum. The music
for many psalms where written by Matthew Camidge and his son Matthew. I even purchased a
CD with their music on it. I also found pictures at
www.ancientfaces.com. I also know that
a Camidge was one of the first bishops in Australia. If you want more info let me know.
Matthew Camidge still has a bust statue on display at the Cathedral of York in England.

I'm researching my great-grandmother Isabella Camage and her family.
She was born in Majors Creek NSW in 1846 and her father was William
Camage.
I've found a William Camage, convict, who was transported to Australia
in 1839. I would love to know if I'm on the right track. Any help would
be much appreciated.
Cheers
