I should not have replied off the top of my head!!
I will check out the CAMIDGE christenings and yes, I do have some records
going back on the Lancashire side.
William Robinson, yes it sounds interesting but I don't think it's mine,
though who knows about cousins etc.
I have the 1866 marriage certificate of Henry Camidge (widower) ) to Jeanie
Graeme Rankin showing father as Charles CAMIDGE deceased and Elizabeth
Camidge M.S Rowbotham, deceased. JEANIES SISTER MARRIED A HENRY McQUEEN and
moved to USA so there may be indirect links,
As some of the IGI are inaccurate, I am now aware of anything from CAMM to
GAMAGE.
I nipped up to the FHL yesterday and found the book of old maps and
parishes.Their photocopier is not available, it is being replaced in about
two weeks.
I posted the CAMIDGE CAMMIDGE pedigree yesterday.
I had an e-mail from Adrian Taylor yesterday.
Guess what? I am sticking to one name on the net, for now.!!!
Regards
Jean

I have a likely prospect:
LDS FHL records show three christenings which list the parents as Charles
Camidge and Elizabeth Unknown:
Name christened location
John Camidge 10 Oct 1819 Landashire, Warrington
William Robinson Camidge August 15, 1817 Landashire, Warrington
Henry Camidge 13 Apr 1836 Landashire, Warrington
The dates fall within your range and the wife's name matches. does
seem
like a big stretch between sons #2 and #3; but a close fit none the
less.
I
would think that a good possibility for Elizabeth's maiden name
would be
Robinson??
The FHL record numbers were 1468987, 1468986, and 1468989 respectively.
Hope this proves to be of some help.
