Hello all,
Just a quick note wishing all of you well. I have been having trouble
running the list lately(Rootsweb internal problem) so I hope you all have not
been too put out. I have found a new website with electronic census sheets,
including Canada, England, Scotland, and Ireland (for all our international
cousins!)
NOTE: These sheets only work with Microsoft Excel 97 or Microsoft Excel 2000.
This program is usually found inside Microsoft Office software package-
along with Word, Access, Outlook, etc.)
Hope this can help some of you out!
I have a website at
http://www.censustools.com where
you can see screenshots of all of the spreadsheets,
read about them in more detail, and of course freely
download whatever you need. The collection includes the federal census
(1790-1920), special schedules including slave and
veterans, and spreadsheets for the state censuses of
Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, New York and Wisconsin.
I also have spreadsheets for Canada, England, Ireland,
and Scotland. I just added 3 spreadsheets for the state of New
Jersey and I expect to finish Rhode Island in
September.
Please remember I have NO stake in this website, just passing it along to
folks.
Have a great day!
Alana
