Cameron and Allied Families</A>
Wish this was my line!!!!!
A Family Hierarchy in Canada and The United States of America 1619-1971:
Cameron and Allied Kinze and Warth Families, 1972, C.E. Cameron, 320 pages,
hardback, indexed, photographs, glossy paper. Book is in good condition, it
does appear to have been kept in a humid place as the pages feel a little
wavy. Doesn't appear to be actual water damage. Binding is in good shape,
very minor corner rounding.
This is a history of some of the Clan Cameron . The earliest date listed is
Capt. Angus Cameron with an apparent Jacobite uprising connection of 1745 in
Scotland . The book contains numerous genealogical entries on these families
up until 1971 with lots of photographs that are very interesting including
John Smith Cameron and Wife (1782-1876), photo of the Cameron Bible. The
first part of the book is a history of the Cameron family and the next part
is a descendant book of Lt. John Cameron of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
from 1755-1971 including a resume of the 1620 Pilgrim Ancestors ( Mayflower
Society ) through Lucy Cameron and John and Caroline Cameron along with a
list of passengers of the Mayflower who are conjugal ancestors united with
the Camerons in North America. Some surnames listed in the book are:
Cameron Kinze Warth Browne Brown Walsh Meyer Ramminger Zerrweck Pfenninger
McLeod Kempton Howland Gorham Hallett Fuller Godfrey Freeman Foster Chipman
Cushman Curtis Doggett Atwood Bosworth and many more.
