Earl Cameron, 92, of Plum,
passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 8, 2011.
He was a World War II veteran, Bronze Star recipient and a member of
the Teamsters for more than 60 years.
Earl was an avid gardener, an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed his
extensive travels in his motor home with his wife. He was a partner
of the Golden Goblet in Monroeville. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Merle and Bertha (Seger) Cameron, of Rossiter; two brothers,
Henry "Barney", also of Rossiter, and Harvey "Chip", of Berlin, Pa.;
and his son, Glen. Earl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doreen
"Vicky", formerly of Bristol, England; his daughters, Kay, of
Hampton, N.Y., Candy (Eric McCutcheon) and Marci, of Plum; his
grandchildren, Cameron Smith, who is currently serving in the Army,
Mikaela Smith, of Hampton, N.Y., and Danielle and Rachel Boney, of
Plum; also his brother, Ken, of Lake Wells, Fla. Services and
interment are private. Contributions can be made to PA Housing for
Homeless Veterans (HUH), 800 N. Front St., Wormleysburg, PA
17043-1046. Arrangements entrusted to the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL
CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTER OF MONROEVILLE.
