Christine Rene CAMERON TRIPP
Mrs. Christine Rene CAMERON TRIPP, 39, of 2407 W. 13 Court in Panama
City, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at her residence. She was born at
Tyndall Air Force Base and was a lifelong resident of Panama City. She
was a devoted wife and mother, and loved fishing and canoeing.
Christine was diagnosed with cancer in June 2000, and had been in great
pain ever since, but courageously fought the disease. Her husband,
Harvey Lee TRIPP, preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by a
son, Christopher TRIPP; a daughter, Kimberly TRIPP, both of Panama CIty;
her mother, Shirley CARLSON of Panama CIty; her father, James CAMERON
and his wife, Doris, of Panama CIty; sisters: Deborah McGINLEY and her
husband, Phillip, of Panama City Beach, and Catherine DAMBACHER and her
husband, Michael, of Panama City; step-children: Marie, Renee, Martha
and Wendy; uncle, William T. HUNT of Bayou George; three nieces, two
nephews and one greatniece. Graveside funeral services will be held at
2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. R.
C. WARREN officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home
one hour prior to the graveside service. The family would like to
extend special thanks to Dr. Fernando MALAMUD and his staff, and to
Hospice of Northwest Florida for the kindness and care given to
Christine during her illness. The family will be staying at the home of
her mother, Shirley CARLSON, 2407 W. 13th Court, Panama City.
