This is for Joe Cameron
as I know he for one is looking for this line
I was in Schuyler Co Il geneology center Sunday
Looking in their Cameron file for my own line of Camerons from NC
found this
James Cameron
b. 1758
m. 20jul1784
d. 25oct1838 Floyd Co Ky
spouse Charity Ann Spangler
b. 1764
d. after 1860

d. after 1860
m. Jane
son Joseph
b. 1812 Whyte Co
m. 1833 smyth Co VA
d. Mary Musser
d. 1876 Vinton
THE LAST EVIDENCE I AM NEARLY 100% CERTAIN IS ERROR
AS I HAVE SEEN IN SCHUYLER A HEADSTONE OF MARY MUSSER
WIFE OF SOME CAMERON
AND A CHILD OF THEM ALL ON THE SAME STONE
A son of Joseph and Mary Musser
was Daniel George Cameron
b. 1835 Whyte Co Va
d. 1905 Schuyler Il
a notation is "buried small cem midway between Clayton and Golden Il"
Also
"Revelutionary War Record Established"
This info was on a letter written from someone (didnt think to look)
from Colorado
as they thanked The Schuyler Genealogy society for thier help
and compared the Denver Society unfavorably to Schuyler
said thay had much more available.
Hope someone finds this useful
as Ive seen a few seekers of this line
