I've "rescued" an old photograph of Willard CAMERON which was taken at the
John H. Ryder Studio in Cleveland, Ohio. The photograph appears to have
been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Willard noted as 12 years old
at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able
to locate the following information in census records:
1900 census of Bedford Township, OH:
Willard O. CAMERON, age 44, born Aug 1855, married 15 years, born OH,
parents born Germany/NY, a Bookkeeper
Jennie D. CAMERON, wife, age 38, born Nov 1861, married 15 years, 2
children/2 living, born NY, parents born NY
Jennie J. CAMERON, dau, age 14, born Aug 1885, born OH, at School
Willard L. CAMERON, son, age 13, born Oct 1896, born OH, at School
1910 census of Bedford Township, OH:
Willard L. CAMERON, age 23, married 3 years, born OH, parents born OH/NY, a
Merchant
Irene E. CAMERON, wife, age 22, married 3 years, no children, born OH,
parents born Austria/OH
1920 census of Detroit, MI: - rooming in the home of Elmer & Elsa SWANSON
Willard L. CAMERON, age 33, married, born OH, parents born NY, a Motor
Products Toolmaker
I am hoping to locate someone from Willard's family so that this wonderful
old treasure can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
