Hi Leaven :
I was just going to say that your dates are too late for what I
know. We have already exchanged emails privately about that. I was
just checking and noted KTCAL's response. Just as i said to you. Do
the DNA and it will help to unravel the Cameronds. I hope you will as
sson as possible.
Kim says they have found a couple of close connections.
One connection was the reason I had my nephew do the DNA test. When
I saw that particular one I knew I had done the research on that
family and I decided to test it out. There were 37 markers done. My
nephew had 67 done. We match perfectly on the 37. That was several
years ago. Same family, different line.
In May 2008, another family and I connected on the internet.
I had the William she was looking for. I expect because of
of different terminology used in our submissions, that they have
been classed as "close'. We know wew are related, and have exchanged
family histories. The names continue into the next family. 'My'
Charles and 'her' William were brothers or 1/2 brothers. The
progenitor is James and another relative and I are on the big hunt
for his parentage. Not easy in the military! Several relatives on her
side were already DNA'ers and there are several others whom we
think makes us all related, but because of same names popping up in
each family , cannot be brothers.
I shall drop a separate note to Kim perchance she won't see this.
