Hello All,
I had a great day today. I was on a business trip to Ohio. On my way back I
had a three hour layover in Minneapolis. It gave me the opportunity to tour
Ft. Snelling. This was REALLY COOL as I had the opportunity to walk the same
ground as many of my Civil War ancestors. It was an inspirational
experience. I then returned home (after 6 hours of air time and three more
in my office). I received in the mail today, John J. Cameron and Permelia
Lyons marriage cert. from Millie Lacs, MN. in Aug. 1869. I also received
copies of the original birth register for Addie Cameron's birth in Duluth
7/30/1874. It listed John's occupation as a Lumberman! I did not know that,
he was a Farmer most of his life. I just thought I would share some of the
victories. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate all of you who are
helping and encouraging my efforts to "Break Down the Walls"
Thanks,
Dean Cameron
