Dear Friends,
There is a new PBS series which has recently been introduced called
"Ancestors" which I heartily recommend to anyone who has done any
work on their family history or who may plan to do so in the future.
To find out when the programs run in your area, go to
www.pbs.org.
A quicker address (or it was on my system) was
www.pbs.org/kbyu/ancestors/ .
The first program which just aired in the Austin-San Antonio area this
past week covered the general subject of why we look for our
ancestors. Of particular interest to me, given "my" project to find
a good place for all the Clan Cameron genealogy all of us have done
and will do was their coverage of some of the outstanding libraries
and depositories in the U.S.
I believe there are 20 episodes and, if you have any interest in
this at all, this appears to be is an excellent series of 30 minute
programs.
Best regards,
Cerise
